Lightning in a Bottle is the festival that just keeps growing. With all the popularity over these past 11 years, LiB has had the fortune to showcase both big name and lesser known artists, making it possible to discover music and art you weren’t even expecting to find.
The activities for the festival have exploded, with micro-environments that have everything from Yoga, to guided meditation, to skee ball, to a sweat ritual presented by authentic Mayan teachers, to planting trees.
Considered the most environmentally conscious festival, LiB is a “Leave it Better, Leave it Beautiful” event, encouraging all who attend to leave no trace. The concept speaks to the individual and communal effort to conserve our environment while leaving the space we occupy better than we left it with the ultimate goal of minimizing our carbon footprint.
There’s so much going on at LiB that it’s easy to miss an adventure, but with so many options, there’s something for everyone at the festival.
Huge thanks to Wendy Winslow Dunn and friends for photographing this year’s LiB!
